From time to time one has to be a little bit self-ironic... Just to show that we are not completely serious about everything and about our sufferings in the male scientific world... But - just like the self-irony of Cyrano de Bergerac - this kind of self-deprication is only allowed for us, for women in science, but never for male scientists...

Yes, this is life, real life... when the mother is a biologist... Next years we'll see what happens if she is a chemist, a physicist, a historian, linguist, psychologist or any kind of scientist... Not only the mother, but the family also has to live in an inspiring scientific environment...

Easter is getting close. So I decided to include two comic strips (the next will be posted next week) about great ideas related to grant proposals of applied science... Of course this is just a joke related to Easter, but in fact this is not so far away from reality. Flattering the boss
